Biography
Dr. Rihab Maaloul is an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at the Higher Institute of Computer Science of Mahdia, University of Monastir, Tunisia. She is also a researcher at the Digital Research Center of Sfax (CRNS), affiliated with the SM@RTS Laboratory (Signals, systeMs, aRtificial Intelligence, neTworkS). She earned her PhD in Computer Science from the National Engineering School of Sfax (ENIS) in 2018, with a dissertation focused on energy-aware routing in carrier-grade Ethernet networks. Dr. Maaloul’s research interests include green networking, software-defined networking (SDN), and the application of machine learning techniques to optimize the performance and efficiency of 5G and 6G communication networks. She has authored numerous publications in peer-reviewed journals and conferences, covering topics such as energy-efficient mechanisms, intelligent resource allocation, and sustainable network design. Her ongoing work is dedicated to developing scalable, AI-driven solutions that address the evolving challenges of next-generation communication systems.
